Motherland

In honor of Haitian Mother’s Day, I’ve put together a photo series of my recent travel home to Haiti. I typically spend most of my time with my family from the South of Haiti, or the ‘Sud Department’. I road tripped to Les Cayes, explored the mountains of St. Jean, took a dip in the natural pools of Saut-Mathurine, ate grilled lobster beachside in Port-Salut, and then returned to the capital of Haiti, Port Au Prince. There, I took the time to wind down with some freshly squeezed orange juice, handpicked from my aunt’s garden.
