Dyckman Basketball: 2022

This summer, I aimed to capture the unfiltered moments that occur at Dyckman Park. I was not solely focused on the basketball games, but rather on the sense of community that is built through Dyckman Basketball. The atmosphere at The Dyckman Tournament is indescribable, and I wanted to capture that feeling in my work. From the unique fashion sense and unwavering support of women on the sidelines, to men searching for "Mami" to grab a pastelito and passionfruit juice, I sought to document the essence of a Dyckman basketball game. My goal was to capture the true essence of the Dyckman community and the vibrant culture that surrounds it.
